There’s a new exhibit at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation that explores the hidden histories of figures created to protect the bones of the deceased. Kota: Digital Excavations in African Art is an installation of nearly fifty Kota guardian figures, constructed of wood and metal, created to protect the bones of deceased ancestors. It will be showing until March 19th at Pulitzer Arts Foundation. STL TV Live host, Arika Parr, welcomes Pulitzer Arts Foundation Manager of Programs, Kristin Fleischmann Brewer, and Pulitzer Arts Foundation Associate Curator, Tamara Schenkenberg.
