Harris-Stowe State University was founded in 1857 as a teacher’s college and St. Louis’ only historically black college or university. Their new Harris-Stowe State University President/ Dean, Dwaun J. Warmack, is implementing many changes to the university to provide higher quality education needed in the 21st century.
