In 2007, Alicia “Sunshine” Depry-Gbaho, had a vision of creating a dance company rooted in the African Cultures. She has made that vision a reality as the Founder and Artistic Director of Beyond Measure Dance Theatre. It entails intermingled choreography rooted in the African Cultures, illuminating the dynamics of its powerfully influential and iconic dances, poetry, acting, singing and more; past, present and future.
