The NGA West Land Transfer Ceremony was the official transfer of City land to the Federal Government. It is also a celebration of partnership of St. Louis City and St. Louis County, the State of Missouri, Federal officials, and the NGA. City leaders officially transferred the 97 acres of land for the NGA site over to the United States Air Force. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been developing the land and overseeing the construction of its new headquarters. The $1.75 billion project is expected to create more than 1,300 jobs.
