Miss Robbie Montgomery got her start in the music industry as a backing vocalist in the ’60s and ’70s. The St. Louisan primarily backed artists like Ike & Tina Turner and Dr. John, and was part of the Ikettes. She starred in the OWN reality show “Welcome to Sweetie Pies,” and has released a new EP earlier this year.
