City Corner host, Steve Potter, has a conversation with Author, Nancy Carver, about her book, Making Tracks, The Untold Story of Horse Racing in St.Louis, 1767 -1905.The book chronicles the time when horse racing was more popular in this city than baseball. Carver describes some of the 18 racing venues in St.Louis, and the politics that drove horse racing out of the city.
