“St. Louis Advertising” is the title of media historian Frank Absher’s new book that features more than 150 images, and commemorates the history and importance that ads have played in shaping the culture of St. Louis. Many of the nation’s most distinctive advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, and other companies were created by agencies right here in our city.
